SQUIRTS GET TWO BIG WINS OVER THE WEEKEND
01/23/10- Squirts travel to Hanover to skate against the Hanover Wild. As soon as the puck dropped center ice, the excitement started. Off the face, Noah Shoenbeck took the puck down passing to Center man Owen Dorval scoring 15 Seconds into the game. Defensive players Ryan Bisson, Emma Shoenbeck, Cameron Cochran, Travis Lamontagne and Goalie Trent Labrecque held the Wild back in the 1st and 2nd periods. Cameron Cochran let one go scoring on the Hanover Wild in the Second Period. Hanover came to life in the Third period putting one pass Berlin Defense. Skating hard until the end, Right-Winger Alex Mailhot scored a hard shot off a rebound. Berlin Sabres win the game 3-1.

- Squirts challenged the Hollis Cavaliers right here in their hometown at the Notre Dame Arena. The game started fast and furious right at the face-off. Back to back plays landed the Cavaliers first on the board only 2 minutes into the game. Sabres coming back attacking the opponents net, Owen Dorval shot bouncing the puck of the pads of the defending goalie, leading the puck on Rylie Binette stick for the first goal for the sabres. Tie game going into the second period, again scoring first was the Cavaliers. Berlin playing heads up hockey was quick to rebuttal with a goal scored by Cameron Cochran assisted by Alex Mailhot. Alyson Blanchette, Thomas Sullivan, Hunter Fauteux and Cory Hood kept the pressure on the Hollis team. Finding the back of the net once again was Cochran with perfect passes from Rylie Binette and Noah Shoenbeck. Hollis not giving up quickly found the right angle by goaltender Trent Labrecque making the score 3-3. Fans on both sides where standing with anticipation. Shortly after the Hollis goal, they did it again scoring past the Berlin Defense. Going into the 3
rd period, Hollis had the upper hand, 6 seconds into the 3
rd scoring again creating a 2-goal advantage. Sabres not going down without a fight worked hard off the face-off Noah Shoenbeck with help from Dorval scored 11 seconds later. Hollis scraping up the ice slide one pass the pipes making it 6 to 4. Berlin Squirts giving it all they had, battled hard, Cameron Cochran came up with a point taking it from one side of the ice to the other earning a Hat Trick for the game. A Pep talk from coaches Mark Dorval and Donnie Labrecque had the Sabres roaring for more. Rylie Binette tying up the game popped one by the goalie with help from Dorval and Shoenbeck. Travis Lamontagne firing from the outskirts scored the winning goal assisted by Shoenbeck and Dorval earning Dorval Playmaker for having 4 assist in one game. Berlin Sabres won 7-6, Goal tender Trent Labrecque had a total of 10 saves for the game.
